Mirari

A water feature that uses no water, Mirari incorporates a subtle play of environmental light, which (like real water) both passes through and is reflected from the sculpture. From some angles the sculpture almost disappears, a mirage of spaces and reflection. From other points of view, the work has a significant weight to it, where the six tons of marine-grade stainless steel it is carved from becomes apparent. View video of the sculpture proposal here.
